Haaaaavard Yaaaaaad by Robert Anglin and Brendan McDonough In our travel group, we went on yet another awesome field trip!!! This time we took a tour of one of the most prestigious colleges around. We had a phenomenal educator/ tour guide named Dr. Steve Mahoney. We went to Harvard University Graduate School of Education in Cambridge Massachusetts. One place that we visited was the famous Harvard Yard. In this section of the Harvard Yard there was a statue of John Harvard with a “golden” left foot (well its not golden it’s more like bronze...p.s. when you rub the foot it’s good luck :)There is a library dedicated to a victim of the Titanic named was Harry Elkins Widener. The only downside was that I could not, in fact, Pahk my cah in Harvard Yard ...because I don’t own a car.

  1. Very good observance!!
Now, what is bronze made of?

About Parrrking in Harrrvard Yarrrd, I heard that there is a PhD dessertation about parking in and around Harvard Yard. Someone earned a PhD degree on this touchy subject!
Ms. Donaghue or Webb can verify this!

  2. Pahking in Hah'vad Yah'd would be very expensive! There have been a few times when I've been able to get meter parking, however!
